Xiaomi’s first Android Go Phone ‘REDMI GO’ Specifications Revealed, Set to Launch in Philippines
The first Android Go phone of the Xiaomi, Redmi Go, is expected to be launched in the coming days in the Philippines. Prior to launch officially, Redmi Go Smartphone teaser has been released on Xiaomi’s Philippines Facebook page. The official teaser has received a glimpse of the handset and has used the #GoSmartDoMore hashtag. The company’s official retail partner Lazada has also listed Redmi Go with an important specification. Talking about specifications, it seems that this Android Go smartphone will come with a 5-inch HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and 1 GB RAM.
Xiaomi has not yet disclosed anything else about Redmi Go phone. But the company’s official retailer partner listed this model with specifications. Online listings have revealed that Redmi Go will run on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go-edition) and will be made available in Black and Blue colors. However, nothing about the price of the device could be found.

This Dual-SIM phone (4G LTE) will run on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go-Edition). There will be a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display with 16: 9 aspect ratios, 1 GB RAM with Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, Adreno 308 GPU for graphics, Inbuilt storage is 8 GB and it is possible to use the MicroSD card up to 128 GB if needed.
It has a 8 megapixel camera with F / 2.0 aperture on the rear side. The rear camera comes with the LED flash and it supports the HDR mode. Redmi Go will have a of 5 megapixels sensor for selfie with F / 2.2 aperture.
Talking about connectivity, Redmi Go has been listed with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS / A-GPS and Micro-USB. Its battery is 3,000 mAh and dimensions of the phone are 140.4 x 70.1 x 8.35 mm.
